To be a successful trader you must decide whether you are a Bull or Bear.If you play both side of the stock market it is very difficult to survive.If you are a bull go long when you get a good buying opportunity and exit long positions with a reasonable profit.After that wait with patience or sit idle till you get your next buying opportunity.Simply do not trade just because you have got money and do not go short because in a bullish market the short sellers are trapped and forced to book losses at higher levels and then the bears realise that the trend is upward.Now at this case you miss a buying opportunity.Bull or Bear decide yourself.The history of the stock market proves that it is always good to be a bull because in long run the bull phase is very long compared to the bear.
