Shares in Indian power producer JSW Energy, which raised $579 million in an IPO, rose 0.75 percent on their first day of trading on Monday, with the muted start mirroring other recent issues.
JSW Energy's debut followed a series of weak starts for listings by large Indian power companies, including Adani Power, NHPC and Indiabulls Power.
