Today Nifty index closed at 5262.45 down 0.76 percent from previous close with FII's net buyers Rs 579.29 crores and the DII's net buy Rs 100.11 crores in the cash market segment (FII's net sold Rs 69.29 crores in the derivatives segment).Index Put Call Ratio at 0.99 and India VIX closed at 19.80 up by 5.71 pc from previous close.(India VIX is up for the third consecutive trading day which indicates bearishness ahead)
