NTPC's High Operational Efficiency

Due to the high capacity utilisation factors being maintained by its power plants.NTPC is able to supply nearly 29 percent of the total power generated in the country and is by far the largest producer.In 2006-2007,its power plants achieved a plant load factor of 89.4 percent which is high even by global standards.
